Next year, the Brno Biennial will celebrate its 50 year anniversary. It is one of the oldest and most important events in the field of visual communication worldwide.
The intention of the 25th International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno is to present the most interesting works of contemporary graphic design created in 2009-2011. In the upcoming Biennial, all categories of entry have been suspended and the event is open to every form of graphic design. The international competition selection board, consisting of designers and design theoreticians, will select works to be included in the exhibition, with regard to both their quality and available exhibition space.
