CALL FOR PAPERS RADDAR N°5
EXHIBITING DESIGN
RADDAR's special issue Exhibiting Design|Exposer Design seeks novel and critical contributions covering a wide range of topics and positions within the theme of this issue. RADDAR welcomes contributions from design historians, researchers and practitioners, as well as from other disciplines, including anthropology, natural sciences, history, neuroscience, art and cultural studies, architecture, sociology, education, psychology, etc. In addition to the usual academic formats such as contemporary controversies, analytical descriptions or theory-driven analyses, case studies are also encouraged.
Possible angles, but not exhaustive:
Places and spaces: the influence of context and the role of scenography.
Approaches and objectives: from the conservation of material culture to tangible futures.
Roles: changing roles of all actors involved, and their interpretation.
Processes: strategies, mechanisms, preconditions and protocols in the creation of design exhibitions.

RADDAR - Revue annuelle de design|Design Annual Review is a thematic and bilingual journal for design research. It aims to foster dialogue between francophone research and the other linguistic areas and invites to broaden the reflections in design to its related disciplines. RADDAR is co-edited by mudac - Musée cantonal de design et d'arts appliqués contemporains, Lausanne and T&P Work UNit, Paris.
