ADM 2013 conference papers will be published in ‘Key Engineering Materials’ which will be indexed by SCOPUS, EI Compendex and other major abstract medias. The special session is organised by the consortium ‘Ecolights’, a project for market deployment of eco-lighting products, sponsored by the European commission CIP Eco-Innovation Programme.
In addition to publication in ‘Key Engineering Materials’, All papers presented in this session will be invited to submit to the following refereed journals as post-conference publication, subject to extension and revision to the journal standard:

International Journal of Design Engineering http://www.inderscience.com/ijde (Inderscience)

The ‘Sustainable lighting design’ special session will be chaired by Tord Wingren.
Topics will cover, but not limited to, the following:
• Lighting products and systems: design, manufacturing, maintenance, packaging, installation, measurement (photometrics), testing, energy saving, disposal, recycling, recycled materials, reuse and remanufacture of components, repair and update, etc.
• Methods and tools for sustainable lighting product design
• Environmental impact assessment and lifecycle analysis of lighting products/systems
• Light sources
• Retrofit lighting
• Electrical, electronic and mechanical components for lighting
